We understand how difficult it can be when you are injured in a motor vehicle accident. It can be even more stressful if you are not properly insured. If you are seen in our office after an accident, first we will need to determine what kind of auto insurance coverage you had at the time. Most people who have full coverage will have a PIP (Personal Injury Protection) policy that will kick in and pay for the injured person’s medical care. If there is no PIP policy available, we will then bill your medical insurance.
Sometimes, however we understand that those types of coverage may not have been in effect. In those circumstances we would still want to ensure you received the care that you need so we would require that you retain an attorney who will send us a letter of representation, and we will require a $20 copay for your visits. We accept all auto insurance coverage plans. If you are not willing to retain an attorney, we would work out a cash discount plan for you.
